Join us in Worship

Once a week, at 5pm on Sunday evening, we gather for an ecumenical Christian worship service and dinner with the whole community. The refugee families that live here as our guests are always welcome, and often contribute to worship through preaching, prayer and song. Many of our neighbors are part of our regular worship and worship leadership.  We rotate worship leadership from week to week so each Sunday is different. There is always lots of singing, reading from the Bible in the languages of those gathered, prayer, and a reflection, often by a visiting local pastor. Children are always welcome and we offer childcare for children three years old or younger.

Occasionally we worship outside or in a different place or time. We always have a large outdoor worship service on Thanksgiving Day and a sunrise service on Resurrection Sunday followed by a large meal. Please call us at 706-783-5131 to let us know if you plan on coming to a particular service to be sure you have the right place and time.
